Hello! I’m Ashley and the founder of Additional Support Bayside.
I’m really big on goal-focused support, and I think health and fitness play a massive role in improving someone’s quality of life. Staying active and eating well isn’t just good physically—it makes a huge difference mentally too.
I started out in childcare, then moved into support work, and now work as an Allied Health Assistant aswell as a support worker. I really enjoy working alongside physios, OTs, speech therapists and exercise physiologists, and then bringing those exercises and strategies into a person’s everyday life—whether that’s at home or out in the community.
That’s where I think the real progress happens. Consistency is everything.
I’m also really passionate about creating opportunities for people to stay active in a fun and social way, which is why I started running the community sport program. It’s a great way to build confidence, improve fitness, and get involved in the community while working towards personal goals.

I’m a pretty active person myself, so I enjoy bringing that into my work and helping people build independence and feel good about what they’re achieving.
I also understand that health and fitness isn’t for everyone, and that’s completely fine. Everyone’s goals are different, and I enjoy supporting people in whatever they’re working towards. We can always come up with a plan that suits you and fits into your everyday life.
